And, this year's registration will be completely online.

Have you longed to challenge yourself in a brand new way? Can you imagine the exhiliaration of skiing a 23 kilometer race? Do you want to discover what Birkie Fever is all about?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Kortelopet is the race for you...and NOW is the time to take the challenge and ski the adventure!

  • Spans 23 kilometers from the Cable Airport to Telemark Resort in Cable
  • Attracts 2,800 skiers who want the challenge and excitement of a shorter-distance race or recreational ski
  • The Birkie Classic Trail will be used by Kortelopet Classic Skiers for the first 9K of their event. At 9K both Skate and Classic Kortelopet Skiers will veer onto Bayfield County and Telemark trails to finish as a race of its own at Telemark Resort.
