Once again parents participating in the Birkie or Kortelopet have a great option for child care at this year's Birkebeiner. For the fourth straight year the Conserve School of Land O' Lakes, Wisc. will sponsor Camp Birkie for Kids.
Camp Birkie for Kids
Children attending Camp Birkie for Kids will:
Discover the natural history of northern Wisconsin in this three-dimensional diorama. The Curiosity Center is a hands-on interactive space for children and their families to explore and gain familiarity with the ecology of the north woods. Stage a puppet show in our theater, crawl through a fallen log in search of animals, curl up next to a tree and read a book, or listen to owls beneath the night sky. Join them an let your adventure begin!
The Cable Natural History Museum is open
Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

“ My daughter Heidi would love to take part in Camp Birkie this year. She had a blast last year!”
“I would like to register my two children for Camp Birkie. They attended last year and had a GREAT time.”
“I haven’t done the Birkie since we had our 2nd and 3rd child – as child care for so many young children gets difficult. I did the Birkie for YEARS before that; your camp gives me the incentive to participate again this year.”
