Race day is Saturday, February 27th, 2010.
Race Registration for the Birkie/Kortelopet & Prince Haakon is now closed!

Registration Rules

  • The race is run according to the rules and regulations of the FIS and any special requirements stated in the entry form, Birch Scroll, this web site, www.birkie.com and participant race instructions. Offenses against any of these rules may lead to disqualification for current or future events and the forfeiture of any and all awards.
  • All participants in the Birkebeiner must be 18 years of age by 2/27/2010. Kortelopet skiers must be 13 years of age by 2/27/2010.
  • There are no refunds allowed for any reason including race cancellation.
  • Entry fees are non-transferable between individuals or to future races.
  • Unsigned entries will not be accepted and will be returned.
  • Skiers who register for one race technique but ski and finish the race on the opposite course (Skate vs. Classic) will be credited for completing the race but will not be given a finish time, will not be eligible for awards and will not be included in the official results.

Bib Pick-Up for Birkie, Kortelopet & Prince Haakon

Bib Pick Up for these events is available at Telemark Resort from:

  • Thursday, February 25th - NOON - 9:00 p.m.
  • Friday, February 26th - 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Race Day, Saturday, February 27th - 6:00 to 9:00 a.m.
  • Birkie/Korte/Prince Haakon Race bibs will NOT be available at the race start.

Be sure to bring your Photo ID
when registering or picking up Race Packet/Bib.

Read Your Confirmation Card

Please be sure to confirm your Wave Assignment and Ski Technique on the following materials:

  1. Your Race Confirmation Card
  2. Skier Confirmation on this site
  3. At Bib Pick-up be sure to review your check in receipt

Registration Changes

The deadline for requesting the following changes is 8 P.M. ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH:

  • Birkie Skate to Birkie Classic or vice versa
    Fee $15
  • Korte Skate to Korte Classic or vice versa
    Fee $15
  • Wave Change Requests (qualifying race info must be provided) - Fee $15
  • Birkie to Korte - Fee $15
  • Korte to Birkie - Fee $25

ALL CHANGE REQUESTS MUST BE MADE BY PHONE.  Call 715-634-5025. Credit card number will be required and fees will be charged as listed above.
