Food & Energy Products

All Stations have water, HEED Electrolyte Drink and bananas. Oranges, GU gels and chocolate wafer cookies will be available as indicated below.

We recommend you carry your own energy products during the event and that you try the HEED energy drink before the event so that you're familiar with it.

Finish Line Stations

The food stations at the Birkie, Kortelopet & Prince Haakon Finish Lines offer:

  • Soup
  • Rolls
  • Bananas
  • Water
  • HEED Electrolyte Drink

Medical Aid

First aid is available at all Food/Aid Stations. National Ski Patrol and EMTs will be stationed at least every 3K. Snowmobile and ambulance evacuation will be available for severe injury.

Pole Replacement

Pole replacement will be available at the Start in the small tent near the announcers podium. Poles are also available at the McNaught Rd. crossing (shortly after the start) on both the Classic and Skate Courses, as well as at all Food/Aid Stations. Poles must be returned at the finish areas.

Wax Stations

Wax stations are located at each Food/Aid Station.
