Finish Areas - Birkie/Korte/Prince Haakon

  • The Birkie finishes on Main Street in downtown Hayward in front of thousands of spectators.
  • The Kortelopet and Prince Haakon finish at Telemark Resort in front of beautiful Mount Telemark.

After You Finish

Finish Area Food Stations

The food stations are available to skiers only and will provide:

  • Soup
  • Bread & Rolls
  • Fruit
  • Water
  • HEED Electrolyte Drink

Birkie Celebration Tent

The exit from the Food Station will take you directly into the Birkie Celebration Tent. The tent is open to everyone. It is heated, lighted and has tables and chairs where you can wait and look for your friends while enjoying music. Food and beverages are available for sale at reasonable prices for both skiers and spectators. The post race press conference will take place here and race results will be posted in the tent.

Northwoods Brewery is the official Celebration Tent Beer Sponsor and will be serving:

  • Walters Premium Pilsner
  • Floppin' Crappie
  • Poplar Porter
  • Rustic Root Beer

Hayward Lions, Habitat for Humanity & Fishing Has No Boundaries will sell the following items in the Celebration Tent:

Birkie Showers

NEW!! Showers will be available for all skiers at the Hayward Intermediate School (2 blocks from the Birkie Finish Line) on Race Day. There is a $5 fee and you must bring your own towel.

Kortelopet/Prince Haakon Finish Tent

Kortelopet and Prince Haakon skiers will find the finish line Food Station in the tent. Race Results will also be posted in this area. Spectators and skiers may also purchase food in Telemark Resort.

Birkie Finish Area Busing

After you've recovered from skiing the Birkie you can walk about one block to the buses which will be parked on Main Street in front of the Courthouse. Buses will return to the Hayward High School parking area and head north and stop at all of the parking areas and Telemark.

The last bus will leave Hayward at 6:00 p.m.

Kortelopet/Prince Haakon Finish Busing

Buses will be located near Telemark Resort and will transport skiers and spectators to parking areas and the Birkie Finish area in Hayward.

The last bus will leave Telemark at 3:00 p.m.
