American Birkebeiner

The American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation, Inc., also provides a Lodging Directory each year for skiers. The directory contains information on hotels, motels, resorts, and private homes and is available each year in July.

The American Birkebeiner offers inexpensive lodging through the Hayward Intermediate School. For $20 per night, you are allowed to sleep on the floor in various parts of the school. 

Pre-registration for the Dorm Housing is now closed. Please register in person at the dorms.

You must bring your own bedding for dorms (air mattress, sleeping bags, etc.) No tents. Showers are available in the school. Waxing space is not available in the school. Bus transportation will be provided from the school to the start. Pre-registration is not necessary, but is recommended. Reservations are non-refundable; no confirmation cards will be sent.
