Birchlegging Skiers
Dedicated Birkie skiers who are competing in their 20th or more Birkie receive the designation of being a Birchlegging Skier. Hundreds of skiers have already achieved the honor of wearing the purple bib.
Those skiers completing in their 30th or more Birkie ski with a light gold bib.
Birchleggings Club
Most Birchleggings skiers become a member of the Birchleggings Club. For information visit their web site at: www.birchleggings.com
Race Bibs
Each 20 Year or more Birchleggings skier is granted a special purple bib with gold piping and 30 Year or more Birchleggings skiers will wear a light gold bib with purple piping. Race numbers on the bibs are assigned the early wave numbers.
Birchleggings Awards Breakfast
Every Sunday following the American Birkebeiner® the Birchleggings Club hosts a breakfast for its members.

Recognition Items
20 Year Birchleggings skiers receive a plaque and special pin the year they complete their 20th Birkie. 30 Year Birchleggings skiers receive a special pin upon completion of this milestone.
