Get Recognized and Rewarded for Living the Birkie Year Round!

Get recognized and rewarded for participating in Birkie events year round! Choose any one race from each of our top THREE events--BirkieTour, American Birkebeiner, and Birkie Trail Run & Trek in one calendar year--to become part of the Birkie Warrior Series.

Awards include a Helly Hansen jacket for Gold level participants, and other fantastic merchandise at the Silver and Bronze levels.

Enter the Second Annual "Birkie Warrior Series"

Now each year, starting with the BirkieTour in January, plus the Birkie events in February, and ending with the Birkie Trail Run & Trek in September, complete one in each of the following three year round events listed below and be recognized and rewarded as a "BIRKIE WARRIOR."

 * This is not about your times in these events,only about your participation!
 
** When you sign up, include which three events you have already done and plan to do. For 2013, you can sign up for the series, make changes or adjustments up through August 1, 2013, which is 7 weeks before the Birkie Trail Run & Trek. You must have already completed either the Birkie or the Korte to be eligible for the 2013 Series.  Email any changes to birkie@birkie.com.


BIRKIETOUR  -  CANCELLED IN 2013
Complete one of the following on January 19, 2013:

Due to cancellation of the event, the Birkie Tour has been eliminated from the 2013 Birkie Warrior Series

  • Gold
    - 45K or 50K Long Tour
     
  • Silver / Bronze
    - 25K Short Tour
     

AMERICAN BIRKEBEINER
Complete one of the following on February 23, 2013:

  • Gold
    - 50K Birkie Skate Race
    - 54K Birkie Classic Race
     
  • Silver
    - 23K Kortelopet Classic or Skate Race
     
  • Bronze
    - 12K Haakon Classic or Skate Race
     
  • Gold
    - Individual Marathon
     
  • Silver
    - Individual Half-Marathon
     
  • Silver
    - Half Marathon Birkie Trek
     
  • Bronze
    - Marathon Relay
     
  • Bronze
    - 5K Fun Run or Walk
 
 

QUESTIONS:

Q. What if I complete two events at the Gold Level and one at the Silver Level?
A. You would be recognized as part of the Birkie Warrior Series at the Silver level. Other examples: one Gold, one Silver, and one Bronze would result in Birkie Warrior Series designation at the Bronze level.

Q. What is my reward for completing all three events?
A. You will receive customized "Birkie Warrior Series" merchandise. You will also be recognized in the Birch Scroll magazine and other Birkie news outlets.
 
Q. How Do I sign-up for the Birkie Warrior Series?
A. You can sign up for the series at any time during the year up until one month before the September Birkie Trail Run & Trek. Just complete and submit the sign-up form.
 
Q. Is there a fee for entering the Birkie Warrior Series?
A. Yes, in addition to the registration fee for each of the three events you choose, there is a one-time $10 handling fee per year to have your events count as part of the Birkie Warrior Series.
