Spooner Holiday Dash & Double Pole Derby Events Call Skiers North!
Hayward, WI (December 15, 2016) — With trails groomed and more fresh snow on the way, middle school, high school, and adult cross-country skiers have unique opportunities to don their skis and get ready to race in the north woods. Both the Spooner Holiday Dash and the Double Pole Derby will provide skiers with low-in-cost, yet high-in-fun, days of racing. Held over the holiday break, both events are a great way for skiers – teams, friends, families – to train for upcoming race events and feel good while doing it; both events are fundraisers for two high school Nordic ski teams.
