The American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation made the switch to the Virtual Event Bag in 2012 as a “green” alternative to the traditional swag bag. It is a user-friendly, online format, and participants get far more than is usually possible with the printed materials in a traditional race bag.
“We are thrilled to again partner with the American Birkebeiner, our sixth year of the relationship,” said Gary Schwake, Senior Director of Strategic Business Development.
“It’s been a great relationship,” added Susan Kendrick, Sponsorship Director for the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation. “And, each year Birkie sponsors come up with bigger and better ways to use the Virtual Event Bag to do great things for our Birkie participants, their friends, and families.”
“The Virtual Event Bag was a good way for the Birkie to go green, especially as our events have grown,” said Ben Popp, Executive Director of the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation. “We hope it’s something our skiers really look forward to, and use. Our sponsors have included some very generous offers and big prizes this year. Be sure to take a look!”
