Why are you interested in being a member of the ABSF Board of Directors?
I am an avid skier and have been skiing Birkie races since 2010. I love the Birkie because it has brought me much personal joy not only with fitness but also connection to a larger community. I would love to build on what everyone before has worked so hard to accomplish. I also would be interested in seeing the Birkie message and brand grown, because it has the ability to positively influence people’s lives.
What knowledge and skills do you possess that can benefit the organization?
I am a long-time real estate and land use attorney and am on my city’s plan commission and zoning board. I could help navigate the Birkie through all aspects of real estate, land use, and government relations. I also used to be the marketing manager for the Motorola Cycling Team in the 90’s and can contribute my marketing, sponsor, and PR background. Finally, I have run my own business for 11 years and know what’s required to make an entity run well.
