Why are you interested in being a member of the ABSF Board of Directors?
I LOVE nordic skiing and the Birkie Trail. My family and I have been long time Birkie skiers and event participants. We bought a cabin near the Birkie Trail in 2020 and our Birkie love continues to grow. We joined the ABSF this year. We have a young child who we hope will love the silent sports of the north woods as much as we do. We are lucky to have been part of Birkie Trails kids and have had him on skies since he could walk. I want to be part of this amazing organization so others can discover the amazing work the Birkie Foundation does to provide for the community. I want to do all I can to grow this community.
What knowledge and skills do you possess that can benefit the organization?
As a working mom who loves silent sports and the Birkie, I can bring perspective to the organization. I have experience volunteering on boards related to my career and my kids school. I am a good leader and more importantly a good listener. I like to work in a team.
