They purchased 286 acres, put that land in conservancy so that it is protected forever, and then provided easements to the Birkie so that we can run our trails across the land. They partnered with the Birkie in order to help the Birkie put another 200+ acres into conservancy as well. All told, Landmark and the Birkie have permanently protected over 500 acres of land so that we can all enjoy the amazing recreational opportunities and beauty of the area forever.
