### 5k & 10k Run/Walk Powered by Birkie & Earth Rider Brewery

Join us in the [Superior Municipal Forest](https://www.superiorwi.gov/224/Superior-Municipal-Forest) for a one-of-a-kind race experience brought to you by the City of Superior, Earth Rider Beer, and the Birkie to support the growth of the Superior Municipal Forest trail system! Hit the trails, chase the miles, and celebrate at the finish with great beer, community vibes, and Northwoods adventure.

Participants receive a cool stainless pint glass and free beer from Earth Rider Brewery. Awards for top 3 in each race – win a free [Birkie Trail Run](https://www.birkie.com/run/events/birkie-trail-run/) event entry!

## General Information

Come enjoy a fun morning on the trails to support future trail development and maintenance in the Superior Municipal Forest. The 5km loop is beautiful and will accommodate all levels…race as fast as you can or enjoy a beautiful morning walk!. Spread the word – get as many friends & family to come on out, support the trails and enjoy the comradery !

**>** 5k loop through the Superior Municipal Forest. Gentle terrain, a great course for all levels. 1 lap for the 5k race, 2 for the 10k.

**>** Register Early, save money! $25 Early Bird pricing through June 30 | $30 July 1- 31 | $40 day of

**>** All participants receive a stainless pint glass along with a free beer at Earth Rider!

**>** There will be one aid station at the S/F that the 10k will be able to access as they lap through, along with all finishers once you have completed the race.

### Venue Directions & Parking

All of the races will start and finish at the [Superior Municipal Forest Disc Golf Course parking lot](https://maps.app.goo.gl/sG511zTFyT22XF5v7) on Billings Dr/42nd St. All access roads will be closed for the event, arrive to the start using 42nd Street – access from the north using Elmira Ave or from the south using Albany Ave.

Use both sides of the road for parking in the areas designated near the start area on the map.

## Bib Pickup and Event Schedule

#### **Friday, July 31**

- Bib Pickup at Earth Rider Brewery – 5:00pm – 7:00pm

#### **Saturday, August 1 (Race Day)**

- 7:30am – Bib pickup opens – look for Red Birkie tent near the start/finish
- 8:30am – Race Start. 10k racers will start first, with 5k runner/walkers starting 3 minutes later.
