Announcing $50,000 Match Gift! Help Us to Secure the Match by December 19, 2019!

Through the generosity of an anonymous Wave 2 Birkie skier, the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation recently received a $50,000 challenge match gift, which could become $100,000 in support of our snowmaking efforts.  From now through December 19, 2019, your donation to the 10-Days of Snow campaign will be doubled up to a $50,000 match, for a grand total of $100,000 toward ABSF snowmaking efforts!  The donations will be used for snowmaking infrastructure improvements and expansion of the snow loops at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead. Two generous lead gifts have been graciously donated by snowmaking benefactors Mike & Jane Mandli, and Andy Schwartz & Bunkie Miller, helping us on our way to meet the challenge match and our goal of $100,000.  Also, in support of the campaign, one-hundred-percent of our ABSF Board of Directors have committed their financial support to the challenge match campaign.

Please help us to reach our goal of $100,000 by December 19, 2019!

With your generous support, matched with the gifts of others, we’ll soon be on our way to a 5K snow loop at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead! This venue will allow adults, children, teams, and families, to enjoy the sport we all love, whether training for February races or simply experiencing a day on skis in the beautiful north woods.

Please consider us in your year-end giving and help us to Let It Snow! Thank you!
