Trek President John Burke joins NICA’s Cable Conquest at Mt. Telemark Village
(9/3/2025) – Cable, WI – The ABSF was excited once again host NICA’s Cable Conquest this past Labor Day weekend. Every year, the Wisconsin chapter of NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) takes over Mt. Telemark Village as youth racers take on the trails.
We were also particularly honored to also host Trek Bicycle President John Burke and OTM CEO Tracy Paradise. Both of these incredible organizations make the Trek Trails powered by OTM possible, and this shared vision brought hundreds of young riders to the dirt for an epic weekend. Their support will continue to provide world-class trail riding at Mt. Telemark Village for decades to come.

What an unforgettable weekend at Mt. Telemark Village for our 2025 season opener! Riders, families, and coaches came together to celebrate community, trails, and competition under perfect early fall weather.
👏 A huge welcome to all of our new student-athletes and families who joined us for their first festival—your energy and excitement made this weekend even more special! We also witnessed incredible accomplishments from first-time racers, proving once again that courage, determination, and stoke are at the heart of WI NICA.

From scenic ski trails to heart-pounding singletrack, the Cable Conquest course delivered excitement at every turn. Whether you were racing, cheering, camping, or just soaking in the Northwoods vibes, the energy and camaraderie made this kickoff weekend one to remember.
