For 2026, we are taking a hiatus on the ParaBirkie ski event to re-evaluate the course, the experience for athletes and the race placement within the week of Birkie events. With a decline in participant numbers, we want to ensure the future ParaBirkie events are a world-class experience for all athletes.
Adaptive skiers are not limited to the ParaBirkie race. Adaptive athletes looking for additional registration information for the American Birkebeiner, Prince Haakon, or Kortelopet events are encouraged to contact registration@birkie.com.
