The American Birkebeiner offers a limited amount of inexpensive lodging at the Hayward Wesleyan Church on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 22-24, 2024.  For a suggested donation of $30 per person/per night, you may sleep on the floor in the gymnasium of the church. No beds or bedding are provided – you must bring your own equipment (air mattress, sleeping bags, etc.), no tents. Please note this is a communal setting.

Check-in time is 4:00 pm Thursday-Saturday
Check out time is 9:00 am on Friday, 6:15 am on Saturday, 7:00 am on Sunday.

All those utilizing the dorm housing are required to have all personal belongings removed from the church prior to checkout time. For those staying Saturday night, you may leave belongings in the gym at your own risk.

Due to the lapped course and spread out schedule of events, there will be NO bus transportation to the start line in 2024.

There are no waxing facilities at the church.

Unfortunately, there are no showers available.

50% of ALL donations go to the Wesleyan Church Youth Group towards Summer Camp!

There is ample parking in the Wesleyan Church parking lot. Please note, there will be regularly scheduled church services on Sunday morning.

COVID19: We encourage everyone at dorm housing to have a negative test within 72 hours of arrival.  Complete a symptom self-checker before attending the event and do not attend the event if you are feeling ill for any reason.  Any participant, volunteer, spectator, or staff that exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home.
