Occupation:
Engineer

Why are you interested in being a member of the ABSF Board of Directors?

I have been working with LCO kids with Chris Morley and Birkie One and would like to continue this work as well as other outreach programs.

What knowledge and skills do you possess that can benefit the organization?

I was an owner and board member for an engineering firm and now have my own consulting business. I am also a current member of a non-profit board VOBS (Voyager Outward Bound School) and from this experience feel I could add value and direction to the ABSF. I can bring financial knowledge from how to run a company. I also can help with making an organization feel welcoming and inclusive while keeping an eye on direction.

How do you see yourself helping to fulfill the ABSF vision, mission and values?

I also coached soccer for a while and the best piece of advice I got from an 8-year-old was “”GRRRRRRRR” what they were really trying to say is keep it fun. I was to focused on drills and strategy, while I should also keep in mind this is supposed to be fun. I think that plays into all of the above
