Why are you interested in being a member of the ABSF Board of Directors? 

I have been on the ABSF board for nine years and have served as secretary for the last eight years. I have learned so much from this experience and would like to continue to serve on the board for another three years.

What knowledge and skills do you possess that can benefit the organization?

I have learned a lot about the ABSF over the last nine years. I feel that this experience and knowledge can help the board go forward as it continues to focus on events and experiences that promote a healthy lifestyle for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I am committed to this organization and its mission and would like to continue to offer my time and talents.

How do you see yourself helping to fulfill the ABSF vision, mission and values? 

I strive to live up to these values on a day to day basis. I encourage people that I know and meet to do the same. I participate and/or volunteer at most ABSF events and try to lead by example. I feel very blessed to live in the Hayward area where I can use and enjoy the Birkie Trail and beautiful facilities and venues that have been built over the last several years. I would like to see the ABSF continue to focus on making this lifestyle attainable for everyone.
