The American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that promotes healthy active lifestyles among people of all ages and abilities through year-round outdoor recreation activities and events. Becoming a member of the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation (ABSF) is your chance to ensure that future generations have the opportunity to challenge themselves outside, creating memories that shape their lives and their communities.
As a member of the ABSF your support allows us to continue to steward the Birkie Trail System, develop and maintain new trails at Mt. Telemark Village, offer youth programming such as Birkie Trail Kids, expand Birkie One Diversity, Equity, Access, and Inclusivity (DEAI) initiatives, and grow Birkie Green sustainability projects.

Every ABSF Membership 18+ gets one individual vote for the Board of Directors. - Why is there no family or business membership?
Individual memberships allow you to choose the options that matter most to you and let the ABSF give the best benefits in the most efficient way possible. - Does my membership automatically renew?
Yes, once you sign up for your 2026/27 membership it will automatically renew but you can make changes to your automatic renewal in your registration account at any time. - How do I get Ben’s Insider Scoop?
Any ABSF membership will automatically add Ben’s monthly Insider Scoop to your communications. - How do I access the Member Store to Shop?
