Shred de She – Fat Bike is a weekend adventure filled with the great outdoors, great riding, and great women who aspire to and love to ride. Riders attend workshops led by premier female outdoor specialists, learn riding techniques and bike maintenance, and enjoy local Northwoods dining at the Birkie’s world-class fat biking venue. Register for the Shred de She – Fat Bike today to gain confidence in skills, training, and fat biking!

All of the camp activities will take place at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead. Arrive at the start from Telemark Rd- take Hwy M east from Cable, take a right (south) on Telemark Rd., and follow the signs to parking and/or bib pick-up. Exit the start/finish area via Telemark Rd. There is ample parking at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead.

We know how important it is to leave Shred de She with a sense of sisterhood. We’ve added a bit more free time into the schedule this year for everyone to get to know each other & swap stories.

It’s time for fresh voices and content at the camp. Come ready to learn from impactful speakers with built in Q&A and discussion time. Prepare for interactive activities and fun.

Friday

5:00 pm — Arrive and Check-In
5:30 pm — Welcome & Night Group Ride!
- Experience the fun of riding on the trails at dusk with a headlamp!
- Optional ride – but a great way to shake-out the legs and get to know each other
6:30 pm — Dinner with Friends!
- Gather with fellow participants for a catered dinner and wine!
7:00 pm — Tire Pressure Workshop
- Workshop by Mike Pfeiffer, Wolf Tooth Components
7:30 pm — Luminary Yoga
8:00 pm — Wrap-up!

Saturday

9:00 am — Rise & Shine
- Coffee and Baked Goods
- Provided by Backroads Coffee and Vibes Bakery
10:00 am — Bike prep – Is your bike ready?
10:30 am — Skills & Drills on the snow
- Fat Bike skill work with your coaches
  - Technique work to enable you to ride through, over, and on any snow-covered trail
12:30 pm — Lunch with Friends!
1:00 pm — Energy Bite Bar
- Build your own energy bites to take our with us on our long ride to stay fueled!
1:30 pm — Long Ride
- Have fun with your friends and coaches as we head out on group rides around the American Birkebeiner Trailhead!
- We’ll ride on and off snow, depending on snow conditions
- Conditions permitting, we’ll ride parts of the 10K Fun Fat course that is part of the Fat Bike Birkie
4:00 pm — How Cold Weather Exercise Impacts your Lungs
- Workshop by Dan and Jolene Beisang, Ulko Gear
5:00 pm — Wrap it up!
- Last minute questions and workshop wrap-up
