Shred de She – Fat Bike is a weekend adventure filled with the great outdoors, great riding, and great women who aspire to and love to ride. Riders attend workshops led by premier female outdoor specialists, learn riding techniques and bike maintenance, and enjoy local Northwoods dining at the Birkie’s world-class fat biking venue. Registration Refund Protection

Protect your registration! Get reimbursed up to 100% on your registration if you can’t compete for a number of reasons. Protecht offers refund protection so you can insure your non-refundable registration fee in the case of injury, illness, or other unexpected events. Protecht can be purchased during your initial registration or up to five days after registration is completed. 

All of the camp activities will take place at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead.  Arrive at the start from Telemark Rd- take Hwy M east from Cable, take a right (south) on Telemark Rd., and follow the signs to parking and/or bib pick-up.  Exit the start/finish area via Telemark Rd.  There is ample parking at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead.

Friday

  • 5:00 pm — Arrive and Check-In
  • 5:30 pm — Welcome! – Why Fat Biking in the Northwoods?
  • 6:00 pm — Workshop #1
  • 6:30 pm — Dinner with Friends!
    • Gather with fellow participants for a catered dinner and wine!
  • 7:00 pm — Workshop #2
  • 8:00 pm — Wrap-up!

Saturday

  • 9:00 am — Rise & Shine
    • Coffee and Baked Goods
    • Provided by Backroads Coffee and Vibes Bakery
  • 9:30 am — Bike prep – Is your bike ready?
  • 10:00 am — Skills & Drills on the snow
    • Fat Bike skill work with your coaches
      • Technique work to enable you to ride through, over, and on any snow-covered trail
  • 12:00 pm — Lunch with Friends!
  • 1:00 pm — Long Ride
    • Have fun with your friends and coaches as we head out on group rides around the American Birkebeiner Trailhead!
    • We’ll ride on and off snow, depending on snow conditions
    • Conditions permitting, we’ll ride parts of the 10K Fun Fat course that is part of the Fat Bike Birkie
  • 3:00 pm — Workshop #3
  • 5:00 pm — Wrap it up!
    • Last minute questions and workshop wrap-up
  • Dinner on your own

Sunday
