Join the Nation’s Top Cross-Country Skiers in Cable, WI for a Week of World-Class Competition
The top cross country skiers from across the country will travel to Mt. Telemark Village on January 2-7, 2027 to race for national titles and earn their place on international team trips.
- January 2, 2027: Skate Interval Start 10K U.S. National Championship
- January 4, 2027: Classic Sprint U.S. National Championship
- January 6, 2027: Classic 20K Mass Start U.S. National Championship/Junior 10K Mass Start
- January 9, 2027: SuperTour Skate Sprint
The first three races at U.S. Nationals (including the Junior 10km Mass Start) are used to select athletes for the World Junior Championships and NNF U18 Trip. All four races will be used to select athletes for the World U23 Championships Team.
The U.S. Ski and Snowboard SuperTour presented by the National Nordic Foundation is recognized by FIS as the Continental Cup for the United States—the highest level of competition in the country.

Please contact Jeff Tumbleson (jeff.tumbleson@birkie.com) if you are interested in reserving a wax cabin or trailer space. Tentative costs are $2500 for an 8×20′ wax cabin. Trailer space with power is still TBD.
Venue Access and Parking
Ample parking is located in the large parking lot to the east of the venue. No parking is allowed at the finish line area or along the road way.
Getting to the Start
All of the races will start and finish at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead. Arrive at the start from Telemark Rd – take Hwy M east from Cable, take a right (south) on Telemark Rd. There is ample parking at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead.
Concessions Schedule
Keep yourself fueled throughout the week of racing at the food trucks on-site at the American Birkebeiner Trailhead! Additional food and shopping will be available at the Hub – visit the Birkie Store, Backroads, and the American Birkebeiner Museum!
Spectator Information
There are many great viewing places around the course. Spectators are not allowed in the Field of Play and must stay off of the groomed course at all times. Please follow crossing guard instructions!
