Why are you interested in being a member of the ABSF Board of Directors? 

I have been honored to serve as Your American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation Board Member and proud of all that we have accomplished. I serve, to insure the future of the ABSF, and that the organization supports the mission of the ABSF:

To promote and conduct the finest international cross country ski competition;
To serve as good stewards of the American Birkebeiner Trail;
To support healthy and active lifestyles among people of all ages and abilities.

The Birkie is an amazing family. Like every family, it is key that every member of the Foundation has a voice, thus I try to make myself available at most events.

What knowledge and skills do you possess that can benefit the organization?

I have been involved as a Birkie Volunteer for over 40 years. Similarly, I’ve enjoyed a successful career, of similar length, in industry.

How do you see yourself helping to fulfill the ABSF vision, mission and values? 

As state previously this along with insuring the future of the Birkie are my goals and have been our success.
