Be a part of a legend! The Slumberland American Birkebeiner is North America’s largest and most prestigious cross-country ski race. Skiers make their way from Cable to Hayward, Wisconsin on the legendary Birkie Trail, finishing on the snow-covered Main Street of Hayward, WI. Enjoy a week full of racing, live music, food, and ski events in the Northwoods. An estimated 40,000 skiers & spectators will attend Birkie week festivities!
