2017 brings 4 open spots to the ABSF Board of Directors.  In mid-July, American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation members will receive an email inviting them to vote online.   Candidate profiles of those running for the Board of Directors are found below.  Online voting will be available to members through Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 4pm.  After that time, voting will be by paper ballot and only at the Annual Meeting on August 5, 2017.

The Birkie is all about an “Active, Outdoor Lifestyle”, so if we are going to have a meeting, we better have some fun in the woods first!  A variety of activities are planned for the morning of the Annual Meeting..  Each activity will have multiple leaders, will be open to anyone and all abilities are welcome.  The group will start out and make sure no one is left behind – a fun day out in the Northwoods!  Call the Birkie office if you have questions.

The foundation Annual Meeting will be a picnic style meeting at the new American Birkebeiner Start line Trail Head on Saturday, August 5, 2017.  Social hour will begin at 5:00p.m., with dinner at 6:00p.m. and the meeting starting at 6:45p.m.  Cost for dinner & drinks is $10 (free for kids under 12).
